Privacy at ThinkJob
Understand the information ThinkJob processes when you use accounts, CV tools, job matching, and application preparation.
Information you provide
ThinkJob processes account details, language preferences, professional profile information, CV files, reviewed CV data, saved applications, notes, and application materials when you choose to provide or create them.
CV and profile processing
Uploaded CV files are stored privately and may be parsed to extract text and structured professional information. Extracted information is presented for review before it becomes the authoritative Candidate Profile used by downstream features.
AI-assisted processing
When you explicitly request an AI-assisted feature, minimized relevant information may be sent to a configured AI provider to analyze a CV or prepare a job-match explanation or Cover Letter. ThinkJob does not intentionally send passwords, storage credentials, or file-system paths to AI providers.
Authentication and sessions
ThinkJob supports email and password authentication and optional Google sign-in or account linking. Secure cookies maintain the application session. Authentication providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Storage and service providers
ThinkJob uses infrastructure providers for application hosting, PostgreSQL data storage, private object storage, transactional email, and configured AI processing. These providers receive only the information required to perform their service.
Job sources and external links
Public job information may originate from approved company career sites or permitted feeds. Opening an employer application page or email client takes you outside ThinkJob, where the destination provider’s privacy practices apply.
Advertising, analytics, and consent
ThinkJob may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and use measurement tools such as Google Analytics. These services may store cookies or similar technologies and may use them to serve ads and improve the product. You are asked for consent before any personalized advertising or analytics begins. If you decline, non-personalized ads may still appear but no personalized advertising or tracking is performed. Use the consent banner on the site to change your choice; consent applies on this device/browser.
Retention, deletion, and choices
Information is retained while it supports the account and requested features. Available controls let users update profile data and delete eligible CV or application records. Some operational or security records may remain where needed to protect the service or maintain data integrity. No fixed retention period is claimed here.
Security and policy changes
ThinkJob applies owner-scoped access, server-side authorization, private CV storage, and safe error boundaries. No online service can promise absolute security. This notice may be updated as the product or its providers change; material updates should be reflected on this page.
