Electrical & Instrument Engineer (Project Execution/ Construction)

Electrical & Instrument Engineer (Project Execution/ Construction) position at QAFCO in Mesaieed, QA.

Responsible for the progress of all field / construction activities.

Assist in follow up contractors and subcontractors in Instrument & Electrical discipline scope during construction phases in order to assure the quality, environment, health and safety aspects of the work.

Participate in Safety walks and Quality surveillance activities, prepare their reports and follow up the closure of all identified actions.

Responsible for progress of all construction activities within Instrument & Electrical discipline.

To prepare and follow up with the contractor(s) / sub-contractor(s) pre-commissioning and commissioning activities; planning and execution to ensure that the day-to-day commissioning activities are executed in safe manner and to prepare for & participate in pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR).

To prepare field progress reports and be capable of identifying and correcting contractual non-conformities.

Prepare and report on KPIs for construction activities.

Ensure that all activities and works in the area of responsibility are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements of QAFCO and the relevant Authorities.
